This cell phone is the one that comes after the Razr V3, the SLRV L7 is a very thin cell phone, aside from its attractive design is has a VGA camera with 1.3 MP, like all VGA cameras, colors are not very good and objects look blurry. With this one Motorola wanted to change things a little bit, meaning that the Razr and the Slvr were extremely thin cell phones but the PEBL doesn’t stay behind, it’s size is 87 x 49 x 20 mm, somehow credit card size. It has a 0.3MP VGA camera what is bad compared to other high end cell phones like the Razr or the Slvr, also because of the biggest picture size is 640x480 the picture quality is not good enough to print them but is good for picture caller-id and wallpapers. The camera has a 4x digital zoom and other basic features. Also its capacity to record videos makes it very useful but the maximum duration is 15 seconds. The impressive TFT screen has 262,144 colors and is very functional, but compared to other cell phones the screen is very good. The external screen is monochromatic but it gives a touch of elegance to the cell phones design. You can set it up to show digital or analog clock. The PEBL allows you to reproduce MP3 ring tones but does not support full MP3 songs. Unlike the Slvr the PEBL does not have a memory stick slot but it is not so bad because it does not reproduce MP3 and that is something you need a lot of memory for.
